"When the upper point of a hair is divided into one hundred parts and again each of such parts is further divided into one hundred parts, each such part is the measurement of the dimension of the spirit soul." (Svet. 5.9) 

Mundaka Upanishad

eso 'nuratma cetasa veditavyo

yasmin pranah pancadha samvivesa

pranais cittam sarvam otam prajanam

yasmin visuddhe vibhavaty esa atma.

"The soul is atomic in size and can be perceived by perfect intelligence. This atomic soul is floating in the five kinds of air [prana, apana, vyana, samana and udana], is situated within the heart, and spreads its influence all over the body of the embodied living entities. When the soul is purified from the contamination of the five kinds of material air, its spiritual influence is exhibited." (Mund. 3.1.9)

The concept of soul is an enigma. Most of the religions says that soul is the one which departs sentinel being up on its death. Eventually it attains subtle energy divine form to live in higher realms. To experience its nature and attributes, it takes many avatars in different realms. How Yogis came to realization that Atma or soul exists and it is indestructible?

Scriptures says The soul exists in the chest area beneath upside down lotus flower. It is masked or trapped to live in the material world weaved by Maya or Illusion. How to experience this soul?

It is not easy to see your soul. Meditation is the key. Keep practicing deeper and deeper meditation, one day it will happen. Suddenly you see thumb size flame. Just the flame nothing else. It appears and disappears. As I practice, it stabilizes for longer periods. It is beautiful. As you go deeper and deeper, you see flame, this Vedas call it as your soul. This will progress to very tiny sharp shinning star. At this point your chest area will be itching, feel heavy and also pains slightly. This is the sign the lotus flower in the form of bud is trying to blossom. The feeling in this area can’t be explained.

Shvetashvatara Upanishad 

Mantra 5.8

aṅguṣṭhamātro ravitulyarūpaḥ saṃkalpāhaṃkārasamanvito yaḥ / 
buddher guṇenātmaguṇena caiva ārāgramātro hy avaro 'pi dṛṣṭaḥ // 5.8 //

Of the size of a thumb, but brilliant, like the sun, the jiva possesses both volition and egoism. It is endowed with the qualities of both buddhi and Atman. Therefore it is seen as another entity (as different from Brahman) and as small as the point of a needle. 

Why it is so tiny, invisible in any form for humans and also infinite? How It can have whole information of our Universe?

Many religions believe there is soul in a being. Even in these, there is a debate whether in animals and microorganisms? How about trees, plants, bees etc? Does sand, rocks etc have soul and conscience?

In our scriptures in a very crude way of interpretation, due to curse human is turned into animals, trees, even rocks, and mountains etc. So it means they do have soul and conscience. A human can pray, practice and attain salvation.

In non sentinel beings, I believe conscience do exists for their survival and also there is a soul which cant be realized by them, like a rock and tree. 

What is this soul? How this is important for spiritual journey? It is impossible to prove that it exists and also moves to different worlds and attains a shape by getting into a body. It also has complete information about itself for millions of avatars of it existence. Is this really possible? Yes.

When we die, the soul regains all it nature, conscience and it is tiniest in the Universe, it can travel anywhere in  no time through quantum tunneling. Such is the design of this universe. When this soul shines purely like Vishnu, it is at its best. Jeevatama is attached to Pramatama.

Planck Length and Size of Soul

What is Planck length? What is Planck time?

The Planck length is the scale at which classical ideas about gravity and space-time cease to be valid, and quantum effects dominate. This is the 'quantum of length', the smallest measurement of length with any meaning.

And roughly equal to 1.6 x 10-35 m or about 10-20 times the size of a proton.

The Planck time is the time it would take a photon travelling at the speed of light to across a distance equal to the Planck length. This is the 'quantum of time', the smallest measurement of time that has any meaning, and is equal to 10-43 seconds. No smaller division of time has any meaning. Within the framework of the laws of physics as we understand them today, we can say only that the universe came into existence when it already had an age of 10-43 seconds.

The Planck length is the fundamental unit of length in the system of Planck units. It has the value:

l_P = 1.62 × 10^-35m

In SI units, measurements of length are made in meters (usually given the symbol m). While the meter is convenient for everyday usage, such as measuring the height of people or buildings, it becomes less practical when we discuss the sizes of very small objects such as protons (radius close to 10^-15 m).

By redefining the base units for length, mass and time in terms of the Planck units, the fundamental constants have the values: c = G =  = k = 1.

The souls cant be seen and nothing can be done to it. Why and how do we perceive it? It is very very hard to perceive the smallest and biggest in this OM Universe. Infinity cant be comprehended. It is an imagination. Fortunately we have science to visualize it now. Today we understand measuring. Keeping a meter a standard measure, how to measure the smallest and Largest?

The smallest length in our Universe is Planck constant beyond that creation is meaning less. The soul is one of the smallest creations which is closer to planck length. Any matter that is created will not be able to hold the Soul which is tiniest compared to Particles like Electrons, Protons and Neutrons. Between 10 power of -27 meters and 10 power of 35 meter the creation's quantum field is created and seeded with natural laws of physics for our universe.

So a soul is tiniest at the length, the laws of physics will not be applied at the materialistic level of creation. That is why in Geetha, Krishna says nothing can be done to a soul.

What is meant by Schwarzschild radius?

Schwarzschild radius, also called gravitational radius, the radius below which the gravitational attraction between the particles of a body must cause it to undergo irreversible gravitational collapse. This phenomenon is thought to be the final fate of the more massive stars (see black hole).

Why is the Schwarzschild radius associated with the tiniest micro black hole formed by a Planck mass twice the Plank length?

If one calculates the Schwarzschild radius, 𝑟𝑠$r_s$, of a Plank mass 𝑚𝑝=2,18∗10−8(𝑚)$m_p=2,18\ast {10}^{-8}(m)$ one gets:

𝑟𝑠=2𝐺𝑚𝑝𝑐2=1,48∗10−27∗2,18∗10−8=3,22∗10−35(𝑚)$$r_s= 2\frac{G{m}_p}{c^{\mathrm{2 }}}=1,48\ast {10}^{-27}\ast 2,18\ast {10}^{-8}=3,22\ast {10}^{-35}(m)$$

Now the Planck length 𝑚𝑝$m_p$ is 1,61∗10−35(𝑚)$1,61\ast {10}^{-35}(m)$, which is exactly half the Schwarzschild radius of the black hole associated with a Plank mass. Thus 

𝑙𝑝=𝐺𝑚𝑝𝑐2$l_p=\frac{G{m}_p}{c^2}$. Filling in the expression for 𝑚𝑝=ℏ𝑐𝐺‾‾‾√$m_p=\sqrt{\frac{\hslash c}{G}}$ in the expression for 𝑙𝑝$l_p$ gives the more familiair form for 𝑙𝑝$l_p$, namely ℏ𝐺𝑐3‾‾‾√$\sqrt{\frac{\hslash G}{c^3}}$.

Why is it that the Schwarzschild radius of a Planck mass micro black hole (the tiniest that exists) is exactly twice the Planck length?

You can of course answer this question by saying that the formulae tell us that this is the case. But is the factor two by which the two lengths are connected just a coincidence, or has this connection some deeper significance?

Light from a stationary source travels at 300,000 km/sec (186,000 miles/sec).

The Schwarzschild radius of an object is proportional to its mass. Accordingly, the Sun has a Schwarzschild radius of approximately 3.0 km (1.9 mi), whereas Earth's is only about 9 mm (0.35 in) and the Moon's is about 0.1 mm (0.0039 in).

In each material creation there is a blackhole or singularity which is the soul. All its conscience, knowledge, experiences everything is crammed into this space. Bigger the mass, bigger the soul but eventually all souls size is same.

Calculating the Size of the Soul based on Singularity

Using the formula of Schwarzschild radius of human(100kgs weight) black hole or soul is = 1 * 10 power of -24 cm = 1 * 10 power of -27 meters.  

Size of the soul is 1 * 10 power of -27 Meters.
