Ayappa Maala

The Sabirimala is the only temple in India that demonstrates the 18 steps as 18 dimensions, which is cosmic conscience. Ayappa was born to Shiva and Vishnu, due to ignorance, many may comment in a bad way such as two males mated and Ayappa was born. The actual meaning is, the 18th dimension lies beyond Parkrithi and it is inexplicable cosmic conscience. Two males mating and a being born is unnatural. Parvathi is prakrithi or nature and Ayyappa is cosmic conscience, ocean, creation is beyond her.

Th entire Ayappa Mala is to demonstrate how to live like a yogi and attain salvation. Remember OM universe is owned by Vishnu, he is the one who can present us salvation. The other 2 Gods are Parvathi and Shiva. Blessings by the18th dimensions is the best salvation.

Ayyappa Yogic Life

The Dheekasha is for 41 days and beyond. It is to experience how treacherous and difficult the yogic life will be. This kind of preparing is needed for the ultimate yogic life to attain salvation. You do this sadhana for 18 years. What happens after 18 years if you do this sincerely?

Yama Niyamas- Meaning DOs and DONTs

1. Keep the Mind pure and control your feelings. Before you put the mala, you should be mentally prepared and whole family should support you in this.

2. Wake up at Brahmma Gadia or Muhurtham. It is between 4 am and sunrise. The earth, sun and moon all started to align to raise energy on earth. Take cold bath, which is key for yogic life. Do mediation for 1 hr. Start the pooja before sunrise. Same for evening. Start 2 hrs after sunset.

3. All bad habits like telling lies, cheating, drinking, sex should be shunned. Living like brahmmachari. This helps to keep the senses under control.

4. Yogic food: No meat, anything that is grown as root such as onion, garlic, potatoes etc. These are good for health but not good for raising your energy in your body. Which is key. You should raise your energy everyday. Say for 1 week you raise your energy daily and one day you have non yogic food, most of your energy will be lost and it will take 2 weeks to raise up to the old level. You need to conserve this energy for mediation, which will raise tremendously.

5. Cook your food yourself. All the ingredients should be fresh as much as possible. Eat it in 3 hrs. You should eat only twice in a day.

6. It is better to beg for vegetables, pulses etc may be within your family and friends. All understand what is Bhikshatanam and what they should do in future as well.

The people should donate essentials to ayappa swamys along the way. You are helping a Brahmman seeker in his/her journey.

15. Trekking: keep chanting swamy name, sing bhajans and keep climbing. Always help others around you. In this journey you are on your own.
