Enlightenment 71 - Vishnu the feeder
We were always told God feeds us. What this mean? How to understand this concept? Look around us. Non Human beings are fed. The nature feeds them. The plants and microorganisms are also nurture by earth. All being fed one way or the other. Even primitive human was living on nature. For earth its karma is to produce a being which can develop its conscience, realize self and creator. So for this purpose earth constantly creating, nurturing and destroying. It goes through this pain every single day. We humans choose a different route of using the nature and feeding ourselves.
Bhoomi is very proud after its existence of 5 billion years of its labor, finally a sentinel being is created who is capable of realizing Vishnu. Now it has to endure and wait for these humans to evolve and pursue the path of self realization. For that it needs help. It looked towards. Sue they did come down in many forms as a human being and seeded the spiritual knowledge. They waited for seekers to realize more and convert into knowledge. Many Rishis who were blessed worked hard to document and propagate this knowledge. Even though humans went through many destructions of destroying each other, the knowledge survived and alive today.
Current period or today in human life is very blessed. We have thousands of videos, books, opinions, commentaries etc of all scriptures, it is up to an individual to pursue the eternal knowledge. Even though we grow many scientifically, who is feeding us? Vishnu. As a yogi I am being nurtured by Go Matha meaning the eternal knowledge coming in the form pure vishnu conscience ray. Govinda is nurturing me.
An enlightenment is Vishnu is feeding us physically and eternally.
Enlightenment 72 - Connection to Vishnu
Many times I thought go temple, do pooja, read scriptures, help other beings etc, god will appear and bless me. It is a naive understanding based on ignorance. As I started pondering without realizing consciencely, what is sanathana dharma is saying? Why there is no clear instructions to connect to Vishnu? Is bhagavath geetha a manual to connect? If I read 1000 times, god will bless and connect me? I am very sincere may not pure, still Vishnu should help and guide?
We are all are connected to Vishnu directly. It is the realization makes the first connection. Even to come to this realization, it may take many years. Reading scriptures and chanting mantras are very helpful to understand the inexplicable eternal truths. Just by reading, chanting and helping others in any form will not guarantee the connection. The connections to vishnu is sleeping and covered by Maya. Once you realize it l, a layer of maya is removed. Remember it is the yogic practice and the quest will revive this connection.
We cant connect to Vishnu. It is he who will initiate or activate it. I dont know the criteria. It is all depends on many factors in previous, this and next life what the soul should achieve. Daily I am working on hard to move to higher worlds. I want to reach a realm, from there I am not going to descend again. I dont the criteria for it, but one thing I know is, I should become a divine human on earth. Every day I am making little little progress. The connection is getting stronger and stronger.
By glimpses of enlightenment, I feel my connection to Vishnu.
Enlightenment 73 - Padmanaabha
All our scriptures says that all creations in this universe and beyond are inside the navel of Maha Vishnu. Our OM universe is like a dust in the navel of Vishnu. I struggled to understand this concept. If everything is inside navel of vishnu, imagine like a human being how big he is? I can imagine gigantic form of him, but is this what Padmanabha is trying to convey? In our understanding Padmanabha is the one who is in yoga nidra and a lotus sprouting out of his navel, at the top we see Brahmma and he is responsible for creating our Universe with help of Vishnu through knowledge transfer.
Akhila Brahmmandam is all in the navel of Vishnu. What this means? The size of a navel is very small compared to the body of a human. Our universe is mind boggling. Imagine so many universes in a navel of Vishnu. How big he should be? Unimaginable. This is one way to look at it. The other way is, the navel is the root of creation. Imagine even for us that is the root when we were born. This whole creation of a being was possible because of Umbilical cord.
The deeper meaning of Padmanabha is that the root of creation is the shiva parvathi lingam, which has all the energy to create a massive creation. From this dot eventually the creation will grow massive. Imagine, we were conceived in a micro egg. From that, nurtured in the womb. Then delivered. A human is unimaginably massive as he grows. It is a complex creation, as a soul we never may understand it completely but whatever my understanding is an astonishing one.
Hope one day see this massive Maha Vishnu in his true nature.
Enlightenment 74 - Truth vs Untruth
Well what is truth and untruth? It is really depends upon under what conditions we are talking about. Sun rises in the east and sets in west is the truth on Earth. It is only true on earth and may not be in other planets. Moon doesn't exists during day and same for Sun in the night is Untruth. Earth goes around Sun or Sun goes around Earth are relative the observer. Both are truths but depends up on from which prospective you look at it.
How to Understand this on earth? First we need to develop to understand many things in 360 degrees direction. There are fundamental things which are always true naturally. As a human we can come over it. Do to our ignorance, if we understand and practice them in a wrong way, drifting farther and farther away from truth and Vishnu. Many times our understanding may be incomplete due to human limitation. At different levels and conditions, the truth and untruth differs.
The yogic practice is to prepare myself to understand these creation maya. If I feel understood a concept, then it differs and shows different side of it. The meditation and connecting with nature slowly teaches me what should I know. The harder I practice, the more is revealed. Many times stumble, fall and cant progress. There comes the help. Get up and keep practicing.
Maya Krishna is full of truth and untruths.
Enlightenment 75 - Anantha Sesha
Sesha means snake. Adi Shesha means, first and primordial snake. Anantha means infinity. Meaning infinite snakes. According to the Bhagavata Purana, an avatar of the Supreme God known as Narayana. In the Puranas, Sheshanaga is said to hold all the planets of the Universe on his hoods and to constantly sing the glories of Vishnu. When Adishesa uncoils, time moves forward and creation takes place. When he coils back, the universe ceases to exist.
This is one of the toughest things to understand for me. A snake is the expression of both Purusha and Prakrithi. When it coils down, it is prakrithi, when raises up it is both. This is the beautiful expression. Sesha represents blissful divine energies. This is very hard to produce and also very dangerous. So controlling is not easy. Vishnu has infinity of them and knows how control for creation. Hindu Gods are depicted with snakes meaning they are producing these blissful energies.
A Rishi also generate these energies in meditation. When I am meditating suddenly you can see Snakes appear in many forms. This means I am generating these blissful energies. Why it takes the shape or a snake? In meditation, the divine light gets generated, this goes through the body's X chromosomes faster the light and forms a snake shape. Together body generates trillions of these and Forms one Sesha. As you get deeper and deeper in meditation, I generate more and more seshas were displayed. They are powerful and try to engulf. I should be able to control them.
The snakes are not visible to naked eye. Rishis who can see these energies behind the head of a seer or a Rishi.
Generating seshas are glimpses of enlightenment.
Enlightenment 76 - Krishna as a Best Friend
There are /were lot of debates whether Krishna was born and Mahabharath war happened or not? Scientifically the timelines does not match. Based on faith, all these things. Especially India had direct connection to higher worlds. Based on Krishna, as avatar of Maha Vishnu, this character dominates Hindu Scriptures. Many Rishis enlightened by interacting with Krishna.
In my opinion Krishna is a human personified character(not real) to connect and progress spiritually to realize self. The god himself spoke how to attain him and it is documented as Bhagavath Geetha. Koran is also spoken by God and Bible written by many of disciples of Christ. Guru Granth Sahib or Adi Sri Granth Sahib, is more than just a scripture of the Sikhs. The Sikhs treat this Granth (holy book) as a living Guru. The holy text spans 1430 pages and contains the actual words spoken by the founders of the Sikh religion (the Ten Gurus of Sikhism) and the words of various other Saints from other religions including Hinduism and Islam.
I also see God in the form of Krishna and progressed tremendously as a yogi. Just follow his words in geetha in understanding and practice. He is really a shrewd demi god. I connected with two forms Krishna Venkataramana swamy. Connecting to these are a blessings. Krishna exactly behaves as described in scriptures. Best friend at times and abandon you when I feel arrogant. First he decided to connect withe snd sits in my soul area of chest and guides. It is my quest, which makes Krishna to teach me. He shows the way and protects me in this journey.
All the Krishna leelas and much more that I experience is blissful experience. These are glimpses of enlightenment.
Enlightenment 77 - Reading and Memorizing scriptures
Rishis had darshan or Visions. Based in that they started chanting what they are? These chants should be precise because in samskrutham, if mispronounced or spelled, totally different meaning can be formed. They transferred this knowledge by memorizing and repetition. From Himalaya to Kanyakumari the chanting is same and precise. Rishis goal was to explain the divine and its creations which is mind boggling for older generations. Today we are in much better shape to understand the intricate working of the Universe and creations.
Today memorization is not necessary for yogic practice but understanding is. Say I memorize Bhagavath Geetha and chant everyday, will not help me to realize self and Vishnu. It is by understanding what being said and practicing is the key. If you give a lecture by memorizing the slokas, it is really good. We have a belief that by memorizing and reading Hindu scriptures will make us eligible for heaven and beyond. This is not true. It is practice, quest... and finally Vishnu's wish. How he decides that I dont know.
A yogi, a pandit or Intellectual may be well versed in all the scriptures and they would have given thousands of upanyasams. Most dont understand the true and deeper meaning of it. You can take a sloka and can deeply analyze like the one in Geetha where Krishna says that I will take birth whenever Adharmam is too much on earth. This we can analyze from superficial level to deepest level whether God is going to take avatar in the form if Kalki in kaliyugam.
Scriptures are heart of yogic journey. Only who truly understand and practice will get attention from Vishnu which leads to glimpses of enlightenment.
Enlightenment 78 - Garuda
This is special bird and symbol of Vishnu. Why this is so important. Whenever we spot this bird, immediately remember vishnu and also pray to it. The things or animals that represent Vishnu are trying to convey internal meaning of the God. Yogic journey is to understand what these means.
So Garuda means soaring conscience. Wherever Vishnu wants to go, he sits on garuda and flies to his destination. The sanskrit meaning of Garuda is based Guruda which means that one which can lift unimaginably heavy weight and still have clear view of everything. So Garuda represents guruda and also from unimaginable heights it can clearly see even smallest things on the ground.
Vishnu coming on Garuda means, for a yogi the weight of spirituality is too much and also should attain soaring conscience which gives detailed view of Vishnu and his creations. If we look at eagle it can soar to greater height and still can come down quickly to catch its prey on the ground.
As I get closer and close to enlightenment, my conscience should be too big and heavy which is soaring to new heights of Vishnu lokam. Whenever I see an eagle in the sky, imagine that symbolically Vishnu is telling me, my conscience is soaring and Vishnu is blessing me.
This experience is a glimpse of enlightenment.
Enlightenment 79 - Sudarshana Chakram
The Sudarshana Chakra (Sanskrit:सुदर्शन चक्र) is a spinning, disk-like weapon literally meaning "Disk of Auspicious Vision", having 108 serrated edges used by Vishnu or Krishna.
What is the internal and real meaning of this Chakram? Krishna is the one who used it most of the times in Mahabharath war. Krishna nemesis Shishupala was killed by chakra when he exceeded his sins by abusing and cursing Krishna. There are numerous stories how Vishnu releases his chakra to kill demons and it is so powerful.
The true meaning of it is the brightly shinning conscience in the form disk kills or destroys the ignorance or maya in a human and opens his mind towards divine eternal truths.
Any star in the sky including our sun represents the brightly shinning conscience. It is impossible to withstand the sun's true brightness. The best way the conscience can shine as 360 degree object is 360/108= 3.3333... degrees. These 108 rays each is called as Eternal ray or GO Matha. One ray or cow has immense conscience eternal truths. To be blessed with one GO Matha is biggest achievement as a human. Imagine 108 GOs.
Blessed with one cow, a human ignorance is shattered. When Krishna released his sudharshana chakram means that person fully blessed with 108 GO Mathas, his maya and ignorance is killed or shattered and Vishnu blessed him with full divine conscience.
When we pray to Chakram, we are praying to kill our ignorances and maya, be blessed with brightly shinning divine conscience like sun. Having glimpses of this conscience is an enlightenment.
Enlightenment 80 - Who is right?
Advaitha, Dwaitha, Sankhya, etc... These are darshanas. There are so many scriptures, philosophies, dhashanas meaning visions when it comes to hindusim and on top of it so many gods. Who and what is right? All were not good among religious leaders or Rishis. Most had different view from each other, followed their own understanding and created a religious sect. Many humans and seekers follow their philosophy sincerely as preached by their guru. To me it seems each of us have different view and understanding of an elephant in the room.
This issue is tackled very well in Geetha. Krishna says the scholars, Rishis, yogis etc will present their views and theories to each other and feeling paramaanandam in discussing about Paramathma. They do challenge each other preachings and also respect each others view. There were times in history deviating from norm there were violence and arguments. Hinduism was still evolving. Even now I can say that no one theory will fit to describe the Brahmmandam and Vishnu activities.
The reason so many millions of opinions, theories are all possibilities of these infinite creations. Anything is possibility either it existed, existing or may exist in the future. All roads with proper yogic practice will lead to ultimate goal of Vishnu. Again what is right or wrong is blessings of Vishnu.
Scriptures knowledge, following a philosophy, rituals is only the stepping stone. It is the intense sadhana and urge will connect you to divine who will sit in the heart and lead you to him.
Based my sadhana, I see glimpses of Brahmman as enlightenment.
