What does Bharath Desh Means

Goddess Saraswathi means Truth of Consciousness. Which is denoted by pure whiteness and it shines. Saraswathi is also called Bharathi, Ila and Mahi.

Ila sarasvatī mahī, tisro devīr mayobhuvaḥ; barhiḥ sīdantvasridhaḥ.

“May Ila, Saraswati and Mahi, three goddesses who give birth to the bliss, take their place on the sacrificial seat, they who stumble not...”

Rig Veda Hymn 110 of the tenth Mandala:

ā no yajňaṁ bhāratī tyam etu, iḷā manuṣvad iha cetayantī; tisro devīr barhir edaṁ syonaṁ, sarasvatī svapasaḥ sadantu.

“May Bharati come speeding to our sacrifice and Ila hither awakening our consciousness ... in human wise, and Saraswati, — three goddesses sit on this blissful seat, doing well the Work.”

Bhaa means radiance, brilliance, intelligence. Bhaarathi means to throw light on. Vibhaathi means to shine forth with divine attributes.

Bhaarathi - one is who’s wholly made up of brilliance & intelligence or the ‘whole white bright light’ or Satva Shakti is Bhaarathi, or Devi Saraswati - Goddess of Intelligence, Spiritual Brilliance & Knowledge.

The Vedic meaning of Bharathi is Large, Vast, Great Consciousness Brilliance. That is why India is called  BHAARATH. BHAARATH DESH means a great, vast and highest land of Brilliance of Consciousness.

The word Veda is derived from the root word, “vid” meaning to know. Thus, Veda means knowledge.  Meaning Sanathana Dharma Eternal Knowledge.

Vedic vision:

The land of great, vast and highest land of Brilliance of Consciousness born from Eternal Knowledge or Sanathana Dharma.

Bharath Mata ki Jai means, victory to the mother whose land is great and full of divine conscience.
